The challenge

Luxury condo living continues to grow in compact cities such as Los Angeles and New York, where high-profile residents seek amenity-rich living spaces that offer tranquility and privacy. Many of these residences are developed by some of the biggest brands in the hospitality industry, such as the Four Seasons and the Mandarin Oriental.

Set in the heart of Beverly Hills, the 12-story residence’s design needed to embody the quality and consistency of the Four Seasons brand while delivering world-class amenities and hospitality services.

The solution

The residential tower totals 219,260 square feet of space for nearly 60 units across 12 floors. The design ensures that the residential tower takes full advantage of the area’s climate and impeccable views. Indoor and outdoor spaces are seamlessly combined, offering residents amenities such as large private balconies with outdoor kitchens, a grand ground-level courtyard and landscaped common area roof decks, including private rooftop gardens for the penthouse residents.

The design also maximizes the number of units with unobstructed views to the north, east, and south and endows penthouses with 180-degree views. Common amenities include a pool, cabanas, private dining with an integral finishing kitchen, cardio fitness center, conference room, business center, lounge and game area.

The Four Seasons brand seamlessly blends with California’s mid-century modern style featured on the exterior of the building. Paired with the amenity-rich interior, the building’s location in the heart of Los Angeles offers a place of sanctuary to residents.

The impact

The building is an extension of the Four Seasons’ internationally recognized brand by maintaining the brand’s commitment to service-rich environments in the world’s most sought-after locations. Residents enjoy easy access to the city’s most fashion-forward boutiques, top-tier restaurants, art and furniture galleries, and the world-famous five-star Four Seasons Hotel located next door.

As more residents opt for flexible lifestyles that do not require them to be tethered to one place, the luxury building allows residents to come and go as they please without the responsibilities of a standalone home. The building’s design ensures residents are offered a comfortable place to return to with outdoor-indoor living and access to private terraces.
