Arcadis completes acquisition of KUA Group, strengthening its position across the European data center market

Arcadis, a global leader in intelligence-driven sustainable design, engineering, and consultancy solutions, has successfully completed its acquisition of KUA Group, a Frankfurt-based leader in complex data center design.

The acquisition, announced last month, reinforces Arcadis’ strategic focus on expanding its global data center expertise. It combines Arcadis’ global capabilities in site selection, program and cost management, and sustainability advisory with KUA’s highly specialized architecture, design, engineering, and general planning expertise.

KUA has an impressive track record, having demonstrated strong performance over the past three years. With Germany now the second-largest data center market in Europe, this acquisition presents a significant growth opportunity, enabling Arcadis to double its presence in the high-demand region and enhance its ability to deliver end-to-end solutions for clients.

With a combined team of over 400 data center specialists, Arcadis and KUA will unlock substantial synergies, providing a comprehensive offering that meets the evolving needs of the data center sector.

Juud Tempelman, Global President of Places at Arcadis, said:This acquisition represents an exciting milestone for Arcadis. With data center demand at an all-time high, combining our strengths with KUA’s proven expertise allows us to provide best-in-class solutions, positioning us as a leading design and engineering partner for data centers across Europe and beyond.
