- Appointment of Linda Morant and Peter de Wit brings enhanced digital, sustainability and commercial expertise as Arcadis builds on key strategic focus areas
- New appointments see Arcadis retaining majority female Supervisory Board
13 December 2023 – Arcadis (EURONEXT: ARCAD) has further strengthened its Supervisory Board with the appointment of two new members; Ms Linda Morant and Mr Peter de Wit. Both will serve for a period of four years, continuing through to the end of the annual General Meeting in 2027.
Linda is an American national and brings over 20 years of experience driving transformation and growth in a wide range of sectors and international markets, including BP, Microsoft, and Nokia. She is currently Chief Digital Officer at The Crown Estate in London.
As a member of the Arcadis Supervisory Board, Linda will provide important oversight and challenge to Arcadis as it accelerates its digital transformation. A key focus area will be continuing to increase productivity and knowledge sharing across the global business as Arcadis expands its digital software and data-based services to clients. Linda will also serve as a member of the Sustainability Committee and the Remuneration Committee.
Linda is joined by Peter De Wit. Born in the Netherlands, Peter has spent almost 30 years in leadership roles at McKinsey in Amsterdam, where he is currently a Senior Board Counselor. Peter brings significant experience in leading a large people-driven organization and, with other non-executive Directorship roles including Brussels-based Aliaxis and the non-profit organization 100WEEKS, will lend important counsel to Arcadis as it develops more strategic relationships with its large clients to accelerate a sustainable and profitable future. Peter will also become a member of the Audit and Risk Committee and the Selection Committee.

The appointments of both Linda and Peter comply with the independence criteria of the Dutch Corporate Governance Code and the profile drawn up by the Supervisory Board. They also comply with the statutory regime limiting the number of supervisory positions that may be held by members of the Supervisory Board under the Dutch Civil Code.
