HOUSTON, TX – December 2, 2024 – Arcadis, a leading partner in sustainable transformation, today announced that Masjood Jafri has joined as National Energy Transition Strategic Advisor and Business Development Lead in the US. In this role, Jafri will co-lead and drive the energy transition business growth and strategy for Arcadis in the US, alongside Matthew Yonkin, National Energy Transition Solution Leader.
Based in Houston, Jafri will be driving the national energy transition strategy and growth in the US working with global, regional, and local leadership. As a strategic advisor and consultant to capital project owners, developers, operators, and investors, he brings nearly 20 years of experience in leading and supporting delivery of capital programs and projects.
In his previous role at AtkinsRealis, Jafri led the resilience market for the US, integrating capabilities to facilitate resilience capacity building in the infrastructure, transportation, manufacturing, and energy sectors. With well-rounded experience covering financial, commercial, engineering, construction, and climate risks, he brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise in capital project planning and execution, PMO design and implementation, investment advisory, EPC contracting strategies, and due diligence services.

Jafri is an Electrical Engineering graduate from University of Manchester, UK, and holds Project Management Professional (PMP) accreditation from the Project Management Institute (PMI). He has also been actively involved with the Upstream, Midstream, and Mining committee of Construction Industry Institute (CII), as well as the Construction Management Association of America (CMAA).
