New report constitutes the fourth consecutive recognition of Arcadis’ digital capabilities
Highlands Ranch, Colo. — Oct. 28, 2020 — Independent research firm Verdantix recently released its 2020 Green Quadrant Digital EHS Services report. The report recognizes Arcadis as a leading global provider of digitally enabled environmental, health and safety (EHS) services.
The report underscores Arcadis’ digital strengths in the areas of site remediation and redevelopment, process and worker safety, and EHS software implementation.
“Arcadis utilizes digital technology heavily across each stage of its project life cycles in both its service lines and in supporting customers’ implementation of EHS technology,” the report stated. “Firms desiring a vendor who will ingrain digital technology throughout their EHS projects should look towards shortlisting Arcadis.”
The report highlights Arcadis’ strong track record for EHS software implementation, noting 20 years working with more than 1,000 clients to break down data siloes that limit transparency and obscure business insights.
“Integrated, enterprise-wide EHS solutions help provide visibility into operations so that our customers can make timely and informed data-driven decisions,” said Vijay Gudivaka, executive director of Arcadis’ global digital EHS&S practice. “With the onset of COVID-19, having the right information at hand can help facilitate business continuity and, most important, protect employees’ health and safety.”
Arcadis’ recently released Digital EHS&S Survey revealed that digital environmental health, safety and sustainability is an increasingly important factor in corporate-level strategies.
“Protecting health and safety has never been more important than it is now,” said Kathleen Abbott, president of Arcadis’ environment business line in North America. “Using digital technology is an absolute necessity in helping our clients gain a competitive edge and safeguard their most valuable assets: their people.”
Arcadis has remained at the forefront of digital innovation in the EHS sector since beginning a company-wide digital transformation in 2016. The cornerstone of the initiative, Expedition DNA, is a gamified training module designed to engage and empower the company’s 27,000 employees around digital and technology solutions.
In addition to providing enterprise digital EHS implementation services, Arcadis is well-versed in applying digital techniques such as advanced analytics, smart mobility, digital twins and remote training tools to significantly improve clients’ business outcomes.
