Arcadis has been appointed to the new, £1.6 billion NHS Shared Business Services (SBS) Healthcare Planning, Construction Consultancy and Ancillary Services (HPCCAS) Framework.
The framework has been created to meet the demands of the infrastructure and construction market across the NHS and public sector, providing a compliant and cost-effective route for procuring construction related services. Its aim is to speed up the delivery of hospital maintenance and development, including helping to meet the NHS’ commitment to build 40 new hospitals by the end of the decade.
The 11 Lots on the framework include: Architectural Services; Project Management; Civil & Structural Engineering; Quantity Surveyor; Mechanical, Electrical and Public Health (MEP) Services; Principal Designer Services; Multidisciplinary Services; Building Surveyors; Healthcare Planning; Net Zero, Environmental Consultancy & Sustainability; and Ancillary Services – Arcadis is one of only four organisations appointed to them all.
Tom Morgan, UK&I Places Director at Arcadis, said: “We have built up our practice to be a global leader in planning, designing and building resilient cities – health and wellbeing sit at the heart of this ambition. Alongside our well-established expert teams and decades of experience across the world, the recent integration of IBI Group, DPS Group, CRTKL, Arcadis Gen and Giftge Consulting, have all added depth and breadth to our offer and placed us at the forefront of design and construction.
“Being appointed to all Lots on this NHS framework in the UK is testament to our strength and allows us to support and sustain a world-leading health service as it builds back better and stronger.”
