16 February 2022: Arcadis has been appointed by Scottish Water to provide commercial support and consultancy for their £3.9 billion 2021-27 Capital Investment Programme known as SR21. The company was successful in both Lot 1 and Lot 3 of the Framework which have a combined value of £38 million over the duration of the investment period.
SR21 moves away from fixed investment cycles into a continually updated programme comprising development lists approved by stakeholders.
Lot 1 of the new Commercial Framework will focus on the long-term secondment of QS and Estimating resources during SR21 while Lot 3 provides an opportunity for project specific specialist commissions.
Scottish Water is publicly owned and managed with accountability directly to the Scottish Government. It is regulated by the Water Industry Commissioner for Scotland, the Drinking Water Quality Regulator for Scotland and Scottish Environmental Protection Agency.
