11 August, 2022 – Arcadis has been named as one of the top corporate advisors in the world, according to Forbes’ inaugural “World‘s Best Management Consulting Firms 2022” list. Highlighting just 230 of the world’s most recommended management consulting firms, Arcadis has ranked among the top 25% of consultancies in the Construction and Infrastructure sector.
Consultants are ranked across a broad spectrum of 13 industries, ranging from Aerospace to Procurement and Supply Chain Management, and 14 functional areas, including strategy, sustainability and digital transformation. As well as stand out results in the Construction and Infrastructure category, where Arcadis scored four stars to be categorized as ‘frequently recommended’, the company was also awarded three stars and ‘recommended’ in the following additional sectors:
- Energy & Environment
- Healthcare & Life Sciences
- Banks, Insurances & Financial Institutions
- Public & Social Sector
- Sustainability
The rankings were compiled by Statista and build on the research company’s long standing ‘top national lists’, which have established the position of management consultancies in many countries all around the world. In the US, Arcadis has consistently ranked in Forbes’ annual lists of America's Best Management Consulting Firms. Similarly in the UK, Arcadis has ranked among the UK’s leading management consultants for the last five years, according to lists compiled by Statista in partnership with the Financial Times.
The country lists are based on the results of two separate surveys — one of consultants themselves, offering their views on their peers, and one based on feedback from the consultancies’ clients. The lists provide scope for both positive and negative feedback about individual consultancies, meaning the results present a fair and rounded overview of the entire industry.
To then qualify for the "World’s Best" list, consultancies from the national lists must be active in at least three geographical regions, including Asia, Australia and Oceania, Europe, North America, and South America. Results are standardized to ensure comparability of ratings across the national rankings before an international star classification was applied to firms across the meta top list.
