Arcadis has been selected by Thames Water on to its Programme Partner Framework, supporting the delivery of the organisation’s Strategic Resource Options (SRO) programme.
This significant partnership underscores Arcadis' commitment to addressing water scarcity challenges and advancing sustainable infrastructure solutions.
Thames Water anticipates a substantial increase in water demand across London and the Thames Valley, projecting a need for an additional billion litres of water daily over the next decade to meet customer needs. In response to this pressing demand, Arcadis will collaborate closely with Thames Water's portfolio team, offering comprehensive programme management expertise, commercial management, and project assurance.
Supported by strategic partners Agilia Infrastructure Partners and Baringa, Arcadis is poised to provide comprehensive support across various aspects of the programme. Agilia Infrastructure Partners specialise in aspects including business case development, complex procurement and project assurance, while advisors Baringa will offer expertise in information management and business systems.
With a longstanding partnership with Thames Water spanning design, programme management, and environmental services, Arcadis will play a pivotal role in advancing strategic initiatives aimed at addressing future water supply challenges. Leveraging deep industry knowledge and experience gained from complex programmes such as Water for Life Hampshire and Thames Tideway Tunnel, Arcadis will deliver innovative solutions that enhance water system resilience and sustainability.
